Stedn is a large family winery with a modern approach to both winemaking and life. Specialist not only in rosé frizzante and aromatic oderds. Bronislav Vajbar founded his winery in Rakvice in 1994. It is a classic case of wine that was brought to wine by the ancestors. The family tradition of growing grapes and making wine goes back to the end of the 19th century. The nineteen years were carried out in the spirit of gradual recultivation and planting of vineyards as well as improvement of enlargement and modernization of technology. By the year 2000, finances were channeled into the planting of vineyards, and since 2000, they have been going into technology. controlled fermentation, pneumatic press, high-quality grinders showed a leap in quality. At the beginning of the summer of 2013, ideas for changing the bottle closure system and also for their new, modern design, which will better indicate the character of the wine, are being concretized. Thus, a completely new history of winemaking begins to be written. Most of the wines are now sealed with a modern screw cap, which makes it possible to produce much safer, healthier and more aromatic wines with a lower sulfur oxide content. Only wines prepared for longer aging in the bottle are sealed with natural cork. All bottles were then given new, modern packaging. QR codes connect each bottle with a web presentation where you can find a detailed description of the wine, its analytical value, and recipes for goodies to go with the wine. The new approach swept not only into the areas of communication with customers and wine lovers, but also manifested itself in the absolute quality of the wines.
