At the beginning of the last century, the founders of M.Cassab left Lebanon and saw Brazil as a country full of opportunities. The journey to consolidate a company operating in diverse business segments was long. Based on the talent for commerce of the future founders of the M.Cassab Group and a small farm in the region of Bebedouro, in the interior of São Paulo, the family acquired modern machines and began processing and selling coffee, rice and cotton, an activity that was head of the company for 35 years and allowed the business to expand throughout the region. UNIFA
The Union of Fertilization Industries (UNIFA) represents a category of strategic players in the agricultural sector. Manuka S.A. is a Dairy company located in Chile. Manuka is a large scale modern company located in Chile and is a leader in high quality sustainable dairy production. Pasture management is essential to our productive strategy as it allows us to produce a high quality product at a low and competitive cost. We are committed to the consumers of our fresh milk who seek a natural and healthy food source. Our successful model has three fundamental principles: our people our herd and our pastures. We work directly with 380 people and indirectly with 1 000 more in order to produce and distribute approximately 140 million litres of fresh milk per year that is then sold to multiple processing companies throughout the country. We have herds of over 26 000 milk cows grazing on our green pastures in the Los Rios and Los Lagos regions. Today Manuka has 14 farms spread across 22 600 hectares of which 9 000 hectares is dedicated to dairy production. The most extensive of these farms is the Hacienda Coihueco. Manuka was founded by New Zealand shareholders and started operating in Chile in 2005. The expertise of these farming families has given Manuka a legacy of knowledge experience and innovation as well as a vision for the enormous potential of dairy production in the southern regions of Chile.

Wine and Spirit World has been family-owned and operated for 60 years. Owner Carlo Russo's career began in 1947 as one of the owner/pharmacists of the Ho-Ho-Kus Pharmacy; a store similar to a small department store which included a soda fountain that served breakfast lunch and dinner. The pharmacy had a liquor license and Carlo turned his attention towards wine. Carlo was an innovator in his time educating customers conducting wine seminars and leading wine tours to Europe. Quickly Carlo Russo's Wine & Spirit World was acknowledged as one of a very select group of fine wine shops in the greater Metropolitan area. Carlo's son Chuck joined the team in 1973 and now owns and operates the store continuing the tradition and legacy left by his father. Together with his wife Maria and a knowledgeable staff the family continues to provide excellent service and impeccable wine expertise to our valued customers.

The joining of an important corporate component from Southern Italy in the person of Giuseppe Senese has allowed the company to implement its strengths with a third plant in Bellizzi (SA) in a land suited to the cultivation of marketed fruit and vegetable products, thus guaranteeing product continuity for 365 days a year and a supply of raw materials from both Northern and Southern Italy to always give the customer the best product.
