story that looks far ahead. The Cantina Sociale di Cesena was founded in 1933 from the common desire of some winemakers to transfer their entire production to a new reality capable of best expressing the values and oenological vocation of the territory. The philosophy of the winery is immediately clear: to bring innovation to Romagna viticulture while respecting the terroir and typical wine production. Day after day, the dream of the first pioneers comes to life in numerous projects and constant investments in the most modern winemaking technologies. After over 80 years of history, the Cesena winery has around 300 members (80% are small suppliers) and excellent production in a modern and functional factory which, thanks to the modern photovoltaic system capable of generating 100,000 kw/year, protects the environment and provides significant energy savings. An environmental sensitivity confirmed by a largely certified organic production and by the company's ISO 9001 certification. Numbers and certificates that allow the winery to represent the safe reference for the common conservation, processing and transformation of the agricultural products supplied by the members (farmers and direct growers ). The careful distribution and improvement of cultivation and technical production has led to a growing interest in new markets. Today the Cesena winery brings its excellence beyond European and non-European borders. A challenge to be faced today like yesterday with the same quality, commitment and innovation as always.
