Award winning winemaker Andrew Murray came of age in the wine business. When his entrepreneurial parents decided to sell their southern California restaurants they ‘retired’ to 200 acres of fertile soil in the Santa Ynez Valley. As a teenager Andrew was a willing travel companion during lengthy expeditions in France’s Rhône Valley wine region. He acted as translator as his father picked the brains of some of France’s most acclaimed winemakers. Together they planted their vineyard on steep hillside slopes with Andrew drinking in every aspect of grape growing and wine production. Eventually trading his UC Berkeley paleontology pursuit for UC Davis’ enology and viticulture program he pursued his new mistress Syrah with an extended internship in Australia. His tryst has evolved into a full-fledged love affair with his favorite varietal. When he sold his vineyard in 2005 Andrew reignited his passion by selecting vineyards throughout the Central Coast to tease out singular compelling flavors from his flirty temptress. The Original Domaine Bottled Wine Iloki podrumi (Ilok Cellars) the country’s first original purpose-built wine cellar is standing proudly on the eastern Danube since 1450. Wine history had been made here over two thousand years ago. The Odescalchi family made a special mark on modern wine. They came to run the estate in 1697. In 1710 they brought the first plants of the traminer variety and planted them on unique Principovac and Vukovo appellation. A few years later two hundred years before the Bordeaux first growths they bottled their celebrated Traminer on the estate to protect their wines’ quality and reputation from outside merchants. Nobody knows of an earlier estate- domaine bottling tradition. That is why wines from Iloki podrumi carry the insignia “The Original Domaine Bottled Wine“. If this is not on the bottle it will not have been bottled there. It will not the real thing.

The Nederlandse Vissersbond (Dutch Fishermen's Association) is an interest organisation for Dutch professional fishermen ship owners and crew in sea- coastal- and inland fisheries. Our members are active within coastal- sea- and inland fisheries and aqua culture (mussels). Diversity is our strength and ensures the Nederlandse Vissersbond as an important partner for fishermen governments and NGOs. Our network is very extensive and crosses many borders. Nepenthe: described by Homer in The Odyssey as an Egyptian herbal drink so powerful that it eases grief and banishes sorrow from the mind. In 1994 the Tweddell family purchased a premium property in the sub-region of Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills. The property was carefully selected and planted to 24 hectares of vines with the intent of producing premium wine. Proven varieties such as Pinot Noir Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc were planted as well as interesting varieties such as Zinfandel and Pinot Gris. In 1996 Nepenthe received approval to build its winery only the second in the Adelaide hills at the time (the first being Petaluma in 1978). In the backdrop of the cool heights of the Adelaide Hills we started producing some soul reposing potions of our own: uncompromising wines of outstanding quality and internationally recognised distinction. Wines that strangely enough have been impressing both critics and consumers with their varietal faithfulness and subtle Adelaide Hills nuances. From the beginning our wines have received positive review from the press and numerous medals on the show circuit. In the first few vintages Nepenthe wines featured in James Halliday's Top 100 The UK Times Top 100 The Advertiser Top 100 The International Wine Challenge as well as many other feature media articles.
