Pago Diana is recorded in documents dating from 1146 and has been known as a winegrowing area ever since then. Today the facilities of this ancient winery are used for other purposes but vestiges of the traditional activity remain. Maplehurst Farms Inc
James Carmichael was the first to farm Maplehurst in 1909 with 80 acres north of Rochelle on Route 64.
