Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias Castilla - La Mancha
Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias Castilla - La Mancha (previously called Union of Agrarian Cooperatives of Castilla-La Mancha-UCAMAN-) is the entity created to represent, defend and promote the Castilian-La Mancha agricultural cooperative movement and provide it with the necessary services to make it more competitive. Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias Castilla - La Mancha was established in September 1987 in Alcázar de San Juan (Ciudad Real) promoted by a small group of agricultural cooperatives interested in the creation of a structure that efficiently represented the interests of regional agricultural cooperatives. Currently, Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias Castilla - La Mancha brings together 312 Castilian-La Mancha cooperatives belonging to the main agri-food sectors in the region, bringing together 115,000 members who together invoice 795.6 million euros annually. Since its creation, it has deployed an active presence in the agrarian scene not only in Castile-La Mancha but also in the national and community, defending the interests of the cooperatives and their farming and ranching partners and presenting at all times serious, rigorous and professional alternatives to the different problems that have been posed to the agri-food sector of our region. It is associated with the Confederation of Agro-food Cooperatives (previously called Confederation of Agrarian Cooperatives of Spain -CCAE-) and through this to the General Confederation of Agrarian Cooperatives of the European Union (COGECA) entity. which represents European agricultural cooperativism.

Terrena Agronegócios Ltda
Terrena Agronegócios began writing its history in 1971 under the name Cereais Patureba Ltda, selling and processing cereals through wholesale and retail sales. He began working in the agricultural inputs sector in the 1980s, creating Patureba Fertilizers. In 1986, its first solid fertilizer factory was installed and in 1992 the first commercial fluid fertilizer factory in Minas Gerais came into operation. In 2000, Terrena Agronegócios Ltda was created. From 2004 onwards, it also began to provide services where the precision agriculture department was created. To this end, it invested in hiring professionals to train them in variable rate fertilizer application equipment and modernized its analysis center to meet the new demand. Invested in the construction of the 2nd solid fertilizer production unit in 2005, doubling the installed production capacity. It also modernized its system for receiving raw materials, which brought greater agility to the process and improved the quality of fertilizers. Focused on serving the sugarcane crop in the state of São Paulo, it expanded its structure again with the construction of the 2nd fluid fertilizer industry based in Sertãozinho – SP in 2016. Pioneer for Quality Wine in Languedoc From the early 70s I started to renovate the estate. I made the difficult choice to never rely on subsidies instead to produce wine for a market that is looking for more quality. It took a while to create. I planted vines that weren’t thought to be suitable for the conditions in Languedoc. Firstly Grenache and Syrah then Chardonnay Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. All this pioneering work has been accompanied with resolute determination against the administration; as we are used to these days with our work on the management of alcohol content. It seems "times change" easier than people do ... the way we prune and trellis the vines has been dictated by the rules of major French regions using the Royat system. The wine became sharper when we were able to work on the most important factor for our region: temperature control. Learning to barrel-age and bottle wine was not easy-going but the hard work paid off. Our loyal customer base was growing and we were winning competitions. Our greatest achievement was winning the award of the “Best Chardonnay in the World” twice defeating the greatest Burgundies. This earned me the nickname that I quite enjoy; the "Devil of Chardonnay". It is better to be the devil than the Good Lord we ask less of him. The Drive For Innovation / Focus on Innovation My son Vincent joined me at the estate 1997. Bierzo county is located in the northwest of the province of León in the Castilla y León region and covers an area of 2954.28 km which accounts for 18% of the provincial area. Geographically it borders the provinces of Ourense Lugo and Asturias and it is a main connection between Galicia León and Asturias. Bierzo's vineyards is characterized by fragmentation of parcels and smallholder plots vines on slopes from 450 to 800 meters whose are oriented to the four cardinal points. Bierzo vineyard's soil stabilise from Miocene materials coated by a layer of Quaternary. Texture is silt loam moderately acidic its pH is close to 5.5 with the absence of carbonates typical of humid climates. The soils on slopes are made of a mixture of minerals quartzite and slate. The Bierzo is a very special and suitable microclimate for vine growing. The natural barrier of Sierra de los Ancares calm the force of the Atlantic storms and produces a continental climate with the influence of the Ocean. The annual rainfall is 721 mm and the average temperature of 12.3 ° C recorded minimum temperatures of 3.6 ° C in the cold months and maximum of 23.6 ° C in the hottest months. The annual average insolation is estimated between 2 100 and 2 200 hours of sunshine.

Fattoria della Piana is a cooperative of farmers born in 1936 that mainly operates in the dairy industry. Constantly growing it is nowadays the first producer of pecorino cheese of Calabria region. Today the various activities of the company cover all processes and stages. There are more than 900 cows at our farm that are milked in a modern computerized milking room; everyday about 20.000 liters of high quality cows’ and sheep’s milk are produced from our own breeding.
