With the financial support of Thomas Jefferson George Washington and other prominent colonists the Virginia Wine Company was founded on present day Jefferson Vineyards. Over the past 35 years our family owned farm winery has produced award winning Virginia wines in a stunning location. Located between Monticello and Ash Lawn Highland we are open 7 days a week. According to the 2014 Nursery Yearbook, each year about 73 million fruit plants are sold in Chile, which, added to those that are exported and the remainder that remains in stock in the nurseries, add up to about 130 million fruit plants per year.
