United Dairymen of Arizona
We are a milk marketing cooperative owned by Arizona dairy families. Founded in 1960 the co-op merged two local dairy associations to ensure an adequate supply of fresh milk and dairy products of the highest possible quality for customers. Our membership consists of approximately 68 farms averaging 1200 head per dairy. Our modern manufacturing facility in Tempe operates 24 hours a day seven days a week and produces high medium and low heat nonfat dry milk (including vitamin fortified products) MPC cream butter skim milk condensed skim milk and lactose powder. Our milk processing plant can process over 1 million gallons of milk per day. We are proud to be among the few remaining full-service dairy co-ops in the country. We offer our members installation emergency repair preventive maintenance and transportation services along with chemical equipment and pharmaceutical supplies.
Celler lavinyeta
La Vinyeta is a small vineyard and olive farm in the middle of the Empordà in Mollet de Peralada. It is a young family company, the result of effort and enthusiasm. The origin of this project goes back to 2002 when a couple of old vines - aged between 55 and 80 years - were acquired from Samsó and Garnatxa. From this moment, new plantations were made up to the current 40 ha. The project was consolidated in 2006 with the construction of the cellar and the production of the first wines. From 2009, La Vinyeta winery is one of the first wineries to become part of Integrated Production, a farming system that respects the environment. La Vinyeta is a small vineyard and olive farm located at the heart of the Empordà in Mollet de Peralada. It is a young family company that is the fruit of effort and ambition. The origin of this project dates back to 2002 when two old Carignan and Grenache vineyards – aged between 50 and 75 years – were purchased. From that moment on more and more vines were planted up to the present 40 hectares. The project was consolidated in 2006 with the construction of the winery and the making of the first wines. In 2009 La Vinyeta became one of the first wineries to adopt Integrated Production and an environment-friendly cultivation system.
