A Unialco foi fundada em 21 de Setembro de 1980 com recursos do PROÁLCOOL no município de Guararapes/SP região Noroeste do estado de S.Paulo onde predominava a pecuária de corte extensiva. O Grupo Unialco gera no período de safra aproximadamente 4.700 empregos sendo 2.400 empregos diretos 500 terceirizados e 1.800 indiretos gerando arrecadação de impostos de R$ 7.500.000 00 por ano. Nossa capacidade de moagem é de 11.500 ton. de cana por dia na Unialco e 6.200 Ton. na Alcoolvale. Produzimos Álcool Anidro Álcool Hidratado Carburante e Açúcar VHP. Na Unialco 60% de cana é própria e 40% cana de acionistas e na Alcoolvale 100% da cana é própria.
